No more “standard” to copy: the age of those who adapt ⚡
We used to have a roadmap: follow the best practices and you’re fine.
With AI, there’s no textbook that’s 100% right 🤷. Tools change constantly, and what works for one person may not work for another.
Two common ways of using AI, both not enough
🔍 A smarter Google: safe, but it only scratches the surface.
🎲 Handing everything to AI: fast, but you can’t tell when it’s wrong, and you learn nothing.
What needs to change: learning to adapt 🔄

🧪 Try it on your own work, starting small.
📏 Measure, don’t trust your gut. Research has found developers using AI were slower yet still believed they were faster.
🛡️ Stay within safe boundaries: no sensitive data in unapproved tools.
🧠 Keep your judgment: AI can do a lot, but deciding what’s worth doing and what’s good enough is still yours.
🤝 Share what you find. With no common standard, your teammates’ real experience is the best documentation.
🚀 Don’t ask “what’s the right way?” Ask: “what works for my job, and have I measured it?”
